If you are looking for exceptional care for your loved one, look no more. Happy Valley Love and Care home is where their home became mom's home. I've been around many healthcare facilities and the care mom received here was by far the top shelf of care. Stacking up all the categories — cleanliness, physical care, personal care, administering meds, medical knowledge, and the home's ambience — they score 100 percent. But the two even bigger pieces for me were how they encircled mom into their family, combined with the other residents, and Kristina and Adrian's remarkable job at picking up on the small things that made her feel welcome and put us at ease.

My second great appreciation, and what helped me probably the most, was discovering we were all one care team for mom. I was able to relax and breathe knowing mom's every need was met, and with these expert eyes on her, it helped eliminate unnecessary trips to hospitals and doctors' appointments because Kristina's skills headed situations off before they became emergencies. Kristina's relationships with doctors, nurses, and in the end hospice made every transition smooth, most importantly for mom, but our family as well.

You don't know the weight you carry when taking care of loved ones until you finally set down some of the load. Happy Valley Love and Care home is a home like no other. I recommend them every opportunity I get.

Family of a resident

My mom was a resident of Happy Valley Love and Care for the last five years of her life, through all stages of her health. Her needs were always met, and they were very attentive to her health, with dignity and professionalism.

Love and Care has homemade meals for every meal — fresh meat, fruit, and vegetables, and even homemade potato salad! I would have to say it is very good.

Love and Care is a family type of environment, and every resident is considered family. They eat all their meals at a table as one group, family in the dining room.

This type of home care is a very welcoming place, and I always felt welcome. On Wednesdays they have an artist come and play music for an hour or so. I enjoyed dropping by and listening to it when I could.

Having my mom at Happy Valley Love and Care was very comforting for me. I knew that she was in the best place, and it was always fun going over to visit my mom and the rest of the family.

I would highly recommend this place. It is a very clean and well taken care of facility. I am greatly grateful to them for taking care of my mom. In the last few days of my mom's life, they were there for my family, as much as they were there comforting my mom. Very nice.
